// ABOUT / HYPRGRPH

We build the
tools we need.

A next-generation cinematic laboratory exploring the boundaries of visual expression through experimental digital art and immersive storytelling.

HYPRGRPH exists because the software we needed to make visuals for stages, films, and rooms didn't exist. So we built it, used it, broke it, rebuilt it — and now we ship it to anyone who'd rather compose than configure.

// PRINCIPLES / 04

  1. 01

    Born in production

    We don't make tools we don't use. Every piece of HYPRGRPH software is load-bearing in our own work before it ever reaches the public catalog.

  2. 02

    Opinionated by default

    Software for professionals. We pick sides on hard problems and trust you to have your own taste.

  3. 03

    One-time purchase

    No subscriptions, no rent-seeking. Buy it once, own it forever, get v1.x updates free.

  4. 04

    Ship when ready

    No vaporware. If it's on the page, it's real. If you can't buy it yet, it means we're still living inside it.

// THE STUDIO

Strangeloop
Studios.

HYPRGRPH is the software arm of Strangeloop Studios — a visual design practice that has made audio-visual work for Flying Lotus, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat, and a long list of others. Touring shows, concert films, immersive installations, projection mapping, live visuals.

Strangeloop is a working environment. HYPRGRPH is what falls out of the work — the tools, scripts, engines, and pipelines that got written to solve a specific creative problem and turned out to be useful beyond that one job.

The relationship is simple: Strangeloop makes the work. HYPRGRPH ships the tools.

// FOUNDER / 01

David
Wexler.

AKA Strangeloop

David Wexler is an audio-visual artist, director, and co-founder of Strangeloop Studios. His work sits at the intersection of music, philosophy, esotericism, and technology — with fractals and recursion as recurring formal and spiritual motifs.

He comes from a cinematic lineage: his grandfather, Haskell Wexler, was a two-time Academy Award-winning cinematographer known for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Bound for Glory, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, among many others.

David's own work has run through live visual design for global tours, concert documentaries, experimental films, AI cinema, generative installations, and real-time systems prototyping — roughly 75% of it improvised on stage rather than time-coded. HYPRGRPH is the software he wished he had while doing it.
